Amy Rose Khoshbin
Amy Rose Khoshbin is an Iranian-American artist based in New York and Los Angeles. Through performance, installation, social practice, sculpture, collage, video, and music she creates participatory worlds where sensory experiences open the way toward liberatory futures. Her work has been presented at The Whitney Museum of American Art, the Guggenheim Museum, the Brooklyn Museum, Times Square Arts, Crystal Bridges, Artpace, The High Line, and festivals including SXSW and River to River. She has held residencies at the Watermill Center, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Anderson Ranch,The Momentary, Project for Empty Space, and the Banff Centre, and has received a NYFA Grant, the Franklin Furnace Fund, and a Rema Hort Mann Grant. Khoshbin holds an MA from New York University in Interactive Art and a BA from the University of Texas Austin in Film and Media Studies, and has collaborated with Laurie Anderson, Karen Finley, and poets Anne Carson and Naomi Shihab Nye among others.
